We received the following message this afternoon from Northumberland County.

Please be advised that due to inclement weather conditions, curbside collection of waste and recycling in some areas will not be collected today.
 
The collection contractor GFL has collected from areas this morning, however some road conditions will not allow the collection vehicles to operate safely.
 
Northumberland County is asking residents that have not had their curbside waste or recycling collected by 4:30 pm today to hold it until their next scheduled collection day (Thursday, March 1, 2012).
