Public speakers from Colborne Public School and Northumberland Hills Public School will be heading to the Legion in Campbellford this Saturday to compete regionally in the Legion Public Speaking Contest.


Sam Short and Tiffany Best will respresent Colborne, after winning their divisions at the Colborne Legion. Sam's speech was based on the story, "A Worm in my Pocket". He will compete in the Primary Division. Tiffany will give her speech on "Black History" in the Intermediate Division.


Breanna Bradshaw also won in Colborne, in the Junior Division and will be the Northumberland Hills rep. in Campbellford. She will speak on "What it means to be a Girl Guide".
